Hi! How do I link the district calendar page to the district website? I want to be able to click the 'event calendar' tab and the calendar automatically pops up instead of showing the link. For your reference, please visit:

d16.toastmastersdistricts.org/Event_Calendar.html

Thank you.

Try using a iFrame (instructions are in the support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/a...editing-page-content page, close to the bottom.

Are you trying to use the built in calendar or something else?

Hi Steve. I want my district calendar to look like this club: msbtoastmasters.toastmastersclubs.org/calendar.html

I believed the district calendar was already built in. It messed up after I changed the page name. I used the IFrame and now it looks like this: d16.toastmastersdistricts.org/Event_Calendar.html

I need to change it back to the original look.

Thank you.

My bet is that the link to the built in calendar is disabled. Go to the Appearance Tab scroll down to Hide Links and enable it there.

Then you will have two links, one for the one that is built in, and one for the page you created.

You can either ditch the one you created and stay with the built in one, or if you want a different entry on the menu, note the URL for the built-in one, re-hide it, and delete the content on the custom page, insert the URL and make that page be a custom link to the internal calendar... that is how you use different menu entries for built in content.

Refer to the following: support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/links-to-other-sites
Pay attention to the Important note in pink.

Apparently the built in calendar was on hidden mode. I enabled it. I ditched the one created by the former webmaster. Now, how do I move the 'district calendar' tab? I want it to be right under ' public relations' tab.

Thank you.

I already told you this:

note the URL for the built-in one, re-hide it, and delete the content on the custom page, insert the URL and make that page be a custom link to the internal calendar... that is how you use different menu entries for built in content.

When you do that you can use the menu repositioning tool in the webpages module to relocate it.

Basically, you are making a custom link to built-in content. Reason: You can reposition the custom link, but you cannot reposition built-in content.

BTW, I don't know if you realize that you can tie the events on the calendars to flyers (or files) that you have uploaded via the File Manager (or elsewhere). Useful for district events.

I hide the 'district calendar'. I made 'event calendar' (custom page) public. I added the link of the internal calendar but the calendar does not appear. Is IFrame the right place to go to? I used IFrame but it didn't come out right.

Ok, I fixed it for you... The system still has a crappy mechanism from several years ago for determining what is a custom link... I will be changing that in the next release to get rid of the nonsense logic.

Please ignore what I mentioned earlier. I think I may not have fully understood what was going on.
