If we use the guest list to email guests. If there a way for the guests to automatically unsubscribe from the list?

Or is that a manual process and the guest responds to the email and we would manually unsubscribe them. I wasn't sure how that worked.

There are actually two automated unsubscribe mechanisms that the system supports... no manual intervention is necessary.

One is the visible link inserted in the "footer" that Brian mentions, and the other is an email based mechanism based on the list-unsubscribe header supported by some email systems. (see www.list-unsubscribe.com/) This second mechanism may trigger an unsubscribe pop-up or prompt from supported email providers.

The link based approach is handled by the website system, and the email based approach is handled by the FTH list server... but both end up running the same code behind the scenes. The code "marks" the non-member as unsubscribed and prevents their email address from being used. (e.g., converts it to an unsubscribed-####@toastmastersclubs.org email address)
