I have updated the user interface for setting floater messages a bit to use a scaled down version of the rich text editor. I am interested in phasing out the BB Code formatting codes, so this is another step towards that goal. Additionally, this allows for more than one hyperlink to be set in the floater message which could be helpful at times...

There are also software architecture reasons for doing this (two fields not really necessary to store a link) in case anyone cares.

Hmmmm.... maybe I'm asking too soon?. When I g to the Floater Messages I cannot see the links to test them at all.

You need to build the links.

Select the text that you want to be able to click on in the floater message, then click the link icon (that is the new feature) and enter the required URL in the appropriate place in the dialog box that pops up (same as adding links to custom pages)

If you had a link in there originally, you should see that it has been converted to the new format--I ran a data conversion query to do that conversion last night. Other than that, you need to use the link tool to add any links you want as Pam is alluding to.

You should expect this scaled down version of the page editor to be eventually implemented wherever you are currently are using the BB Code formatting codes. (The [ b ] style formatting codes.)

I will be making the relevant changes in this area over the next few months.
