I would like to introduce a blank line at places in the prepared speech introductions to make them easier to read, to wit:

Our first speaker tonight is Joe...

Joe's speech evaluator is Bob. Bob, please share objectives...

With My Speech Title, please welcome Joe!

If I simply use <CR><LF> (i.e. hit <RET> on keyboard), the extra line, which does appear above, does not show up in the print preview box; all text is merged together into one big paragraph. Even if I plop a period on the otherwise blank line, that punctuation is forced inline with the other text. I thought I had this working in the past. How can I insert a hard return to force better vertical spacing?

Is there a way I can just move this thread to Improvement Suggestions or must I start anew?

Thread has been moved to Improvement Suggestions with a slight change of title.

This whole topic is kind of a moot point since my intention is to implement the rich text editor for speech introductions.

Thanks, Jane, for moving the thread, but for future reference, is there a way that I can move it or must you?

Only forums moderators and admins can move posts. That's fairly standard practice on most forums.
