I entered a new member into our membership system and received the below error message. I confirmed that the email was correct but I did notice when the welcome letter sent was copied to my email, it read differently in the "SENT TO" section, something like this "%^#trumanlo@gmail.com" with three strange characters before the email.

Error Message Sent:
This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. appears to be an invalid or non-working recipient email address. (Syntax error in email address.) If you believe this is incorrect, please visit support.toastmastersclubs.org and post a support request message.

Please share what I can do to allow him into the website to create a member profile.

No luck on Truman's emailed welcomed letter. I just tried sending one again and this is how his email appears in the sent to: �€猼rumanlo@gmail.com. Yikes. For some reason the system is adding extra symbols instead of sending to "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.".

I was able to send to three new members without any problems today. I asked Truman to provide another email address. In the mean time, can you see what's happening to his address? Thanks, Marni.

I'm guessing here, but have a suggestion a well.

I suspect the email address was copied and then pasted with some non-ASCII characters which seem to be invisible.
Suggestion: Delete Truman's email address and save. That should force a no-email format system address.
After saving go back in and clear the system address, then type in the actual address (don't copy/paste). Hopefully that will fix the issue.
