I am a club officer. Now one role identified -President. Was VP Eduication. For short time both roles were identified and when VP Education role deselected could still edit in the first week/second week of January. As of this week editing ability disabled. Admin person has given permission for me to be able to edit. Still cannot. Please advise. Thank-you

"permsission" -2 for spelling (just teasing) :P

Your description of your issue is a bit confusing. Could you tell us what you did, and what you expected to see vs what you saw?
Also, screen captures are sometimes helpful.

Mr. Brian, Just in case you did not get my response to your request. My club number is 1760
If you are the person, I appreciate your teasing i.e. user error with repsect to miss-spelling of permissions. I smiled. Thank-you.

I am a Club Officer for Atomic City Club #1760. Now President. Was VP Education. For short time both roles were identified and I had no problem editing hen the pencil editing icon in the top ribbon above the Agenda was selected. Editing with both roles identfied or only one worked first week in January. able to edit as VP Education and/OR President. This week the capability to Edit is not working. Admin person has revisited permissions and editing permission is enabled. However, still cannot edit. Example: 1) When select edit pencil icon in the icon ribbon on top of agenda the screen refreshes and the various icons are shown as active. The icon edit looks active/available and I can select it. When selected all editing icons de-highlight as does the save button, which indicates to me they are no longer active. 2) Without selecting the pencil edit icon for those items that it is possible to select from a pull-down menu, I can make a selection and the selection displays. However, it is not possible to 'Save' the change. The Save button either displays as active or inactive. When I select the pencil icon for that specific item that I made a change, all pencil edit icons in the agenda show as inactive. the same happens with the 'Save' button. The admin reviewed permissions and they seem enabled as per my role(s) and my name. He re-entered my permissions and saved changes (did not work), deleted me then specified me (did not work). The idea to delete was to cause a clear or reset). We then waited 24 hours between these actions to test the permission change. Did not work. The thought here was that we might have to wait for 'the system' to process changes. I have tried same actions in both the IE and Firebox browsers. Tried each browser without the other running. No desired results. Platform is a PC. Vista windows. PLEASE HELP

How do I attach an image?

Anne

Please go to the bottom of your page and click the "Reload website from server" link on the very bottom line - see if that makes a difference.

Pam, unfortunately clicking "Reload website from server" did not work. I tried in the IE and Firefox browsers. As developers is there anyway that you can look at the Admin Mode and trouble-shoot form there?

Anna - please activate the developer console and let us know if anything shows up in red when you have the agenda editing problem.

To activate Developer Console in IE:
Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select F12 Developer Tools.
The console should open in the bottom portion of your screen with the debugger tab active

Pam,
Text appeared in red. I have taken a snap shot. The only way I know how to send the image is to select the 'new topic', then attach the image, a jpg file. I will use the same subject name and place a 'v2' in the text string. I hope the picture gets to you.
thank-you
