I was following up on a report from a new user and found that the public download page is requiring that the user be logged in. When I attempt to access the page without being logged in I get the message :You are no longer logged in. Please log in again. with the TI logo displayed. When I log in as the admin and access this page I get the list of all posted files with the option to set the permissions on each file. Similar to the file manager page but with text for the permission controls instead of the icons.
Any ideas?
Thank you,
John

Please try logging out as admin and as member, then close your browser and open it again. Also press the "reload site from server" link at the bottom of your page.

If that doesn't help, please provide your club number and let us know what browser you are using.

If it does help, and there are no obvious reasons for your new user issue, please ask your him/her to reload from server too.

Hi Pam,
Thank you for your response. I've done as you suggested with no change in symptom. tried it with Chrome and IE 8 and 10. Did the reload. Our club number is 7368-F site is www.putm.org I've double checked the page is set to public access. The first clue that something is wrong is that when you try to access the public download page a page is loaded saying that "You are no longer logged in. Please log in again." when I do log in as a member the page that loads is the old file manager page instead of the page structured for the public downloads.
I know this was working but it's been a few months since I've made any changes to the page.

Click on another link, then click on the public download link again.

That is what worked for me when I tried it on your site.

I believe that the issue is that you are using a reserved title. You have Public Downloads set to not show in the Appearance tab, but have chosen to name the new page Public Downloads.

If I change the name, it works. So your best option is to change the title of the page.

Roger was partially right. You had a page name that ended in downloads.html and that was getting confused with normal downloads page. The code will not get confused any more.
