If you have not already cleared your messages, they would be accessible at the bottom of the Administrator Info tab in the admin console.

We are not keeping these messages anywhere currently. I could save them to a log file in the future, but that is not currently being done.

The admin messages from us are basically simple ad-hoc notifications/broadcasts that allows us to avoid sending out a lot of emails.

Is this the message you are talking about?

[2015-04-05 01:57:29 GMT, FTH Support] The link for the new member welcome message for the FreeToastHost support forum is not correct in club or district websites created prior to the 2.2 update.

The club administrator will need to change it from:

You can access the FTH 2.0 Users Guide at <support.toastmastersclubs.org/members/fth2/docs/FTH20UsersGuide>

to:

You can access the FreeToastHost 2 Users Guide at <support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc>.

You can access it by choosing Membership Management in the Select A Module drop down list, then click on New Member Welcome tab.

This has already been corrected for all websites. I did a bulk db update.

[2015-04-03 03:10:59 GMT, FTH Developer] If you are a member of a club whose members speak English as a 2nd language and would rather use a version of FreeToastHost with fixed text and prompts in your preferred 1st language, then please participate in our Preferred Language poll located here:

support.toastmastersclubs.org/4-general-...l-preferred-language

We are working to add multiple language support to FreeToastHost, and I would like to get a sense of what languages clubs speak that use FTH.

[2015-04-01 03:43:50 GMT, FTH Developer] Unfortunately, we had a data glitch due to a code bug in the recent Membership Management code update. We do try to carefully test code updates, but sometimes things get missed unfortunately. In any case, I believe the code bug has been fixed and we have restored the affected Membership Management information from a database backup.

*** If you have made any changes in Membership Management since Monday 3/30/2015 at 8pm GMT, then please do the following in order to make sure that everything is ok on your end:
(1) Load Membership Management and review the information on the contact information tabs.
(2) Click the Save button in MM and review your information. This checks for any issues that are not readily apparent.
(3) Review member role assignments in any agendas updated since 3/30/2015 at 8pm GMT.

I sincerely apologize for any issues that this has caused on your end.

[2015-03-30 23:31:56 GMT, FTH Developer] I made a few minor improvements to the Membership Management module: I improved how duplicate data errors are handled, I added "Built In" groups to the Select By Group drop down on the Members tab, and I decreased the number of actions in MM that would trigger a refresh when you exit the admin console.

Visit us at support.toastmastersclubs.org if you have any questions.

[2015-03-19 09:18:29 GMT, FTH Developer] I downloaded and installed an update to the user interface library that we use (jQuery UI) that the library developer recently released. You should not notice anything different (mostly bug fixes in the library), but let us know if you run into any problems. (Like strange colors or screen layout issues.)

[2015-03-19 01:33:58 GMT, FTH Developer] I will be removing the District # field from the Admin Console. This was added before I realized that we can get that information directly by querying TI HQ's club database, so we do not need to request it be entered. (Thanks to any of you that entered this information.)

[2015-03-17 03:17:38 UTC, FTH Developer] For those of you who prefer the Bing and/or Yahoo! search engine to Google, I have added support for using Bing Webmaster Tools on the Website Statistics tab of the admin console. The Bing search engine is used both by Bing as well as Yahoo!. Similarly to the Google meta tag for Google Webmaster Tools that we already support, we are now supporting entering a meta tag provided by Bing Webmaster Tools (www.bing.com/toolbox/webmaster) to verify ownership of your website for the purpose of obtaining search statistics from Bing Webmaster tools.

If you have any questions about this, please post us a message on our support website: support.toastmastersclubs.org

[2015-03-12 19:40:30 UTC, FTH Developer] We have been seeing some periodic recurring issues with Hotmail/Outlook.com holding up email processed/sent by the FreeToastHost server (e.g., FTH list emails). Unfortunately, this is not a problem that we can really do anything about on our end.

Because of this situation, I recommend checking via Membership Management if any of your club/district members have a Hotmail/outlook.com email address, and then sending them a email *directly* requesting that they put @toastmastersclubs.org on their "Safe Senders" list--it is in their email settings.

[2015-03-11 03:13:03 UTC, FTH Developer] Some of you are discovering that I made a change to the Member Authentication emails so that admins are copied on them. The admin copy of the email does not include the actual authentication link, but otherwise it is identical. The purpose of this extra email to website admins is so that you get a confirmation when a new member is trying to set their password or when an existing member is having trouble logging in (so you can assist them, if appropriate). In essence, it is intended to support you in supporting your members.

[2015-03-01 00:39:24 UTC, FTH Support] The FreeToastHost Ambassadors will gladly look at your entire website if requested. However, keep in mind that our primary goal is to provide support first, so we may not be able to look at the entire website quickly. We may need to log in as a member to see how the site works for a member.

[2015-02-27 23:05:03 UTC, FTH Support] The overwhelming response to our addition of the "Evaluate My Website!" forum section has been a very pleasant surprise. Wonderful! Because we are 8 volunteers from all over the world contributing our spare time and because we want to make sure you all get the feedback that you are looking for, if you get an evaluation then we request that you give at least one other website an evaluation. (Can do more than one if you want.) This will help us to maintain this forum section as a valuable part of the support website well into the future while allowing us to still provide needed user/technical support.

*** This is basically "Get an evaluation, give an evaluation." ***

Like giving your first TM speech evaluation, you may not think you have anything to offer another club about their website, but I would beg to differ. We all can offer our impressions, likes, and opportunities for improvement. We just need to be willing to do a fair and balanced assessment and have the courage to offer our feedback.

Lastly, I noticed that some of you changed the wording to "Evaluate Our Website". I think that is a good change, so I am going to change the name of the section to reflect that.

[2015-02-26 05:09:32 UTC, FTH Support] We have added a new forum section to our support website called Evaluate My Website! This is located here: support.toastmastersclubs.org/website-evaluations . The purpose of this is to allow FreeToastHost users/admins to request a Toastmasters style qualitative evaluation/critique (fair and balanced) of their club/district website from the FreeToastHost Ambassadors and other users. Our intention is to enable our users to take advantage of the website expertise that already exists in the community of FreeToastHost users to take their website to the "next level".
