Is it possible to add in role descriptions that new users could click on when signing up for a role on the meeting agenda?

You can certainly add role descriptions to the agenda if they are enabled.

Also, the role descriptions have an undocumented feature that allows you to put links in them.... So you could link to a more extensive role description if wanted.

I have not fiddled with the link support in a while, but you should find that it works similarly to the following:
www.bbcode.org/examples/?id=9

I believe that the supported form is [ url]yourlink.com[ /url] (remove the spaces)

I think that should work in the role descriptions... You can maybe experiment with it a bit and see what happens.

I did not document it since I considered this an experimental feature add.
