I have worked out an agenda template and I used it for the first time to create an agenda for a meeting. I need a place for meeting notes but the free text form at the end of the agenda doesn't behave right in my humble opinion. The text box itself behaves fine. It accepts newlines and all other formatting. Yet when I update the notes all the text shows up on top on the free form box as well as in the box itself.

1. The text on top is completely stripped of whitespace so it looks pretty bad.
2. The text in the box itself is fine so why print it twice ?

I attached a screenshot. I don't follow the idea here. Can someone clarify.

Thx

The text box is not meant for full meeting minutes just a few notes from the members like "I won't be there".

Most clubs that do minutes create word or pdf documents and upload them using the file manager.

Also, the notes show for all members that have posted notes, but you can only edit your meeting notes, hence the duplication. If you had notes entered for other people, also, you would see the difference.

Thanks. May I leave the following feedback.

I really like the agenda template etc...What I would really like to see added are the following features in order to obsolete the need for an extra place for minutes when most info is already in the agenda.

1. A way to add members without roles who also attended the meeting.
2. Same with guests.

3. A way to punch in the actual speaking times for each speaker. Right now you only get the standard 5-7 etc... This should include evaluators since we time them as well. For now I'm using the "Speech Intro" box

Right now we create minutes for each meeting almost 90% duplicating the already created agenda. This seems silly as the agenda appears to be a perfect place to incorporate the minutes. The minutes are visible to every member anyway so they might as well be in the agenda.

Q. Is there a way to force a newline? I tried <br> and
but no luck.

thx

Thanks... that is all great, but what you have to realize is that there is a good bit of variety between clubs in terms of how they run meetings. You should post your suggestions in the Improvement Suggestions section of this forum for most visibility, but keep in mind that we have to keep the design a bit generic to serve the needs of the majority of clubs that use the system.
