Hello there!

Download the PDF to your FTH website and grab the link. Get a JPG of the image or write on another page what you want it to be called and link to it...

Hi Linda,

Thank you for the response.

I am not clear on the part where you mentioned (Write to another page what you want it to be called and link it ). Can you please elaborate a little.

Again my issue is I downloaded the file and through file manager added it to the FTH website and I got the Direct URL of the file and created a link on my Custom page and linked it to the Direct URL.

When I click on the link in my Custom page the file directly gets downloaded to my local drive instead i want to view the contents of my file on the screen and then I should be able to decide if i need to download it or not .

Appreciate if you could provide me the details of how this could be done .

Thanks

I said download the PDF to your site;

Go to member download and copy the link of the download;

In a separate page, either write download or a name of what you want to call the document and link it to the PDF;

Either that, or make a JPG image of your file and link the JPG to your file in member download

I exactly did the first step you mentioned Linda.

I uploaded the pdf file to my member downloads and got the Direct URL and In my custom page I wrote a text and linked it to the file in the Member Downloads .

When i click on the link it still downloaded the file directly without opening the file contents.

Am I doing something wrong here ?

Thanks,
Geetha

We haven't launched our website yet Linda . I am working on it offline .

Do you want me to simulate the issue and send it across to you ?
