I have a very small club, which has been in danger of folding.

One of the strategies I am adopting as VPE is to invite members of other clubs to present / evaluate / otherwise participate in our club, as we rebuild (to give guests a positive example, rather than the same four people scrambling to fill roles)

And yet I can see no way to add a non-member on to the agenda.

What I want to know is:

Is it possible for the VPE (or toastmaster) to assign someone to the role who is not a member?

I've kludged this by adding the club's non-member coach, and visiting toastmasters, as members (temporarily) .. but this IS a kludge, and not one that is viable in the longer term, I don't think.

Is there a way around this?

I've looked through the FAQs and done a search of the forums, but ...

Cheers

A way to overcome this is to add a dummy member named {Guest}, with no email address. The curly brackets place the dummy member out of the way at the bottom of your list. You can put the guest’s name in the role description or now even in the Role Title.

Thank you. This process worked. Club 9772 Winchester Virginia sponsors a Youth Leadership Program in the community. This process allows students (future Toastmasters) to practice their learned presentations to an adult audience. Being able to send the meeting agenda to them with their name is going to be a wonderful club recruiting tool. Thank you again.
