I am building a custom web page on my site that describes the responsibilities of the various toastmaster roles and would like to insert a "Print Button" so that members can print a particular role description directly from the webpage. Can someone tell me how to do this or direct me where to find the information in the CK Editor users guide. Thanks.

You are not going to be able to do this without doing some JavaScript and getting into the HTML source... The editor info does not really cover it as we purposely disable form elements (like buttons) in the editor config.

Aren't you just going to end up duplicating the following? www.toastmasters.org/Membership/Club-Meeting-Roles

Why don't you just put links in the role descriptions that route to those "official" descriptions?

I wanted to add specific commentary to the roles shown on the TI website, and then have it printed out by members...however your suggestion is an easier solution and at least provides me with a starting point.. Besides JavaScript is way above my "pay grade". Thanks.

If you put the following in the Source View of the page, you should get a basic print button. The JavaScript part here is the onclick= part.
<button href="#null" onclick="window.print()">Click to Print</button>
However, the catch is that you probably want to just print the page content minus the menus and such. This will include the menus and such.

I will probably be putting out a print button at some point this year... However, subtracting out the non-content stuff is what has to be handled by it.

the other way to accomplish this is to create PDF with the information and then link to the PDF which the people can print and take with them to the meeting.
