Hello! I'm new to FreeToastHost, but recently we've been getting a lot of emails about role changes (so and so signed up as evaluator...) This is a bit much for our inboxes. I turned the feature off for myself and changed it manually for our members, but was wondering if (A) did I do it the hard way? Is there a place I could turn it off for the server? Or (B) is there a way to set new members to not receive role change notifications? (In a perfect world, for our club there would be a "Toastmaster only" option or a TM+Bob.)

My concern is that it will be forgotten when someone joins and they will receive a lot of emails that no-one else knows about. We have a lot more turnover than the average, I believe.

Please always post your name, club name and number in your signature, when asking for help so we can look into what is going on with your website in the future, if you have more serious issues.

As far as what you are asking... I believe what you did is the way for turning off notifications...

Nick, the "master settings" are in the Agenda Global Settings/Templates module.

Also, individual members can block role change notifications via a setting in their member profiles.
