Hi Steve-

I just set up our club's custom domain. Everything is working great, even the emails. The only thing I now have a question about is regarding SSL certificate and security. Please see attached screenshot for details and let me know what needs to happen next.
I went into Basic Setting tabs for Website and updated to force the https thinking that might work, but it doesn't seem to be helping this particular issue.

Thank you so much for your attention on this matter,

Hello,

Please see attached images for the issue - when first load the web page (confidencebuildersclub.org) I get a page saying the site is not secure. This is def not ideal, as it might discourage potential new members from visiting our site.
I did the force https secure in the Basic Settings tab in the Website section but it didn't seem to fix this particular issue.

Did this issue ever get resolved?
Do I need to purchase a $13/annual SSL certificate for our club's new custom domain or this included with FreeToastHost?

Thank you!

Everything looks good for your domain setup.

The certificate generation are done as an overnight process. There is not cost for the certificates we are using.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for your reply!

I thought the SSL cert would activate on Sunday per one of Steve's posts, saying it does it every Sunday at 6am GTM. It still gives that unsecure error page when I try to access the site. Do you have an estimate on when it will stop saying the site is insecure? The custom domain has been transferred over to FTH since Friday 10/6.

Thank you so much!:)

I can run the cert generation routine manually tonight... I am a bit busy at the moment.

Ok, you should be all good now.

The cert got generated, but the server config file that loads it did not. It is fixed now.
