I'm using MailChimp for my Club's newsletter, and yesterday I generated a subscriber pop-up script to add to my ToastHost Club website. No matter where I insert the code—at the beginning, end, or middle—it messes up the formatting of the Home page. The images are stripped away, the left navigation column moves to the middle and the main column vanishes. Removing the script puts everything back into place the way it was. As a workaround, I added a "Newsletter Subscribe" page and menu item to the nav column, but it's hidden among the other options.

Can anybody offer any insights ?

Please read the terms of service.
We do not support 3rd party scripts and tools and if they mess up you site all we will do is clear your page.

Do you wish us to clear your page?

Thank you,

It looks like this pop-up widget has a Wordpress dependency anyway... we do not use Wordpress, so this should be expected to fail from the get go.

Thanks for your quick responses! Message received: no 3-rd party pop-ups to be used on ToastHost! No need to clear the page; removing the script made everything OK again.

The problem is that people try to get fancy with these things, and expect us to provide support when things do not go as expected. There really is just no way we can possibly provide support for FTH and support people in setting up any of these myriad third party widgets. It is just not realistic so we will not do it. Therefore, if you can get it set up and working, then good for you, but do not expect us to support it. We have enough to handle just keeping the system by itself running smoothly and supporting it.
