Question from James Buxton at club 5204:There's some interest between a couple of the clubs here to share our calendars with each other, the idea is that when one club posts an event on their calendar it will also show up on the calendar of another local club. Anybody have a workaround to do this or is there a setting we can toggle to make it happen?

The system calendar will not support this. What you may be able to do though is to shut off the system calendar page, and use Google Calendar instead. It can be iframed into a custom webpage. Then you should be able to share the same Google Calendar.

I believe that this is possible, but you will need to figure it out on your own, because I have never done it myself.

Thank you, I was hoping there would be some setting to do this 'behind the scenes' using the existing club officer emails which would make it easy to transfer to each new officer as the roles turn over. I've mentioned the iframes idea with Google calendar but I don't think we really want to add a separate generic gmail account to any of the officers roles. I think we might try adding a custom webpage to a couple local club websites using a free WordPress page or the like, maybe a shared Facebook page, I'm just trying to imagine a way to create an easy connection between clubs so that we can support each other's membership drives or events without adding anything 'clunky' to the pages or necessitating an obnoxious text or email chain. If you've done this kind of local networking with club's using the freetoasthost website native functionality I'd love to hear how it was done.

Nope, no way to connect calendars w/ built-in system stuff.
