Some people will like photos on the Agenda Sign-up screen and some will not. Everyone has different preferences.

Currently, this is forced to be one way or another for all club members via a Agenda Global Setting. I want to change that and just save the user's preference in a cookie on their machine. The goal would be to have some way to just click something on the Sign-up screen to toggle the photos on or off.

I have implemented this toggle on the Agenda Sign-up screen--look for the two buttons that look like photographs. The two buttons do the same thing... I just put two since they are small and they "balance" the column heading. There is probably a better way I could have implemented, but it works for now. The associated global agenda setting in the admin console has been removed. A cookie is used on each users computer to save the setting... The cookie never expires.

Everyone who wants photos can get photos and everyone who does not is not stuck with them. B)

Before toggling photos...

After toggling photos...

I switched the logic for the sign-up screen so that the system default is photos on.
They can be easily switched off with the buttons at the top of the column.

We strongly dislike this and would really prefer to return to the "photos off" always option.

Would you please do this?

If you have some clubs that feel strongly the other way, perhaps bring back the option for "Agenda Photos On" "Agenda Photos Off" or "Allow user to toggle agenda photos on/off."

I am quite serious, I have a riot on my hands here. The only reason members have agreed to have photos at all is for the occasional use of people using the view our members feature. If this clutter inducing and creepy photo display on every agenda continues, I fear that most to all of our members will remove the photos.

Would you please return these to an off position until a more customized solution can be implemented.

Many members view things on computers that do not store cookies, and having a default of yes is awful.

No, I am really not. I was actually coming out to this website specifically today to log a support request as I didn't know what the heck happened. I didn't create a new ticket as I saw your existing thread.

I had noticed that something changed a couple of weeks ago, but as it was still defaulting to names only it wasn't a problem.

Defaulting to photos, is quite creepy. I am seriously not joking about this.

I haven't needed to come to the support site for several years, so I had to go through the whole remind me about my user name and reset my password, just so I could get in here to say, "please for the love of all that is sacred, make it stop."
