I am editing www.tmd9.org/pathwaysresources.html

I added some information and it resized the table. I go into the source and designate the width I want.. but after I save and it refreshes, it doesn't change. I want the second table (the one with two columns) to be the same width as the single column table above it...

the too wide one does have a scroll bar along the bottom.. I don't want that.. if it would go the width I want, it wouldn't have that scroll bar.

I suspect there is one code somewhere that I am just not seeing that will put it right.. But I need another pair of eyes to look at it and tell me why it's not cooperating with me..

oh.. and in the editor it looks just fine.. it's when I save and it refreshes.out side of the editor that it is too wide.

You have competing widths. There are widths on each table cell (the td's) as well as the overall table width.
The sum of the column widths does not equal the overall table width.

The overall width is losing the fight, but I suspect it is what you want.

Use percentage widths on the td's instead of fixed pixel widths.

I changed pixels to percentages and made sure all the figures matched and it still didn't work. What DID work is changing it all to one column instead of two.

Thanks for the eyes..
