TOPIC:

I put agendas in for 6 months at a time....July through December; Jan through June. After each meeting, I delete the agenda. At this point, I should have 3 future agendas showing. Instead, I have a list of agendas back to 2012. I don't want these. They've all been deleted. How to I get rid of these? I've never had this happen.
I'm also trying to sign a member up for Toastmaster at the next meeting. Her name is 'gray' and I can't sign her up. Why?

If you delete agendas you delete the members history of what they did.
It a member is greyed out it is because they marked themselves absent for the meeting.

Thanks, Brian, but I've always deleted agendas. We have never had an endless list of agendas until now. That's a feature that we don't care about. I only want to see what's left as we go through the year....as it has always been. This is definitely new. I've been deleting all afternoon and wondering where these came from. Then I looked further and they go back to 2012.
Not necessary; never there; poof! What's the secret to deleting them and having them stay deleted?

You are mistaken. Those agendas have always been there, you just were not seeing them because I changed the filter for what shows in the agenda selection list from the last 45 days to the last 5 meetings worth of agendas. As these are old agendas they would have been hidden by default in the agenda drop-down with the prior filter scheme but not with the current scheme.

Bottom Line: Those old agendas were *never* deleted as you presumed. They were just filtered out / hidden in the drop-down by default.

If you click the List All Agendas checkbox, you will see *all* of your old agendas. I bet there are more old agendas than you think. Again, they were *never* deleted, they were just hidden.

I guess what I'm now asking is isn't there a way to hide them again and only show future agendas or do we now live with years and years of agendas visible? Seems like that should be an option.
I honestly don't care if they were never deleted. The point is....they were not cluttering up stuff once they were 'deleted'.

By design the system used to show the last 45 days in the drop-down by default and now it shows the last 5 meeting agendas in the system by default.

Anything older than that will be hidden / filtered by default. Those will not be deleted though... just hidden.

However, you are in luck, though, because when I made the filter change, I also made the # of past meetings in the drop down an option. (already did that)

If you look in the Agenda Global Settings (at the top), you should be able to find the option to change that from the default of 5 past meeting agendas.

Again... it just hides though... no delete. You can see that if you check the List All Agendas checkbox.

Sounds like I'm in luck but there has never been anything showing but the next meetings...until the end of June or December. We meet twice a month so there were perhaps 12 or a few more finishing out the previous 6 months or fewer as time goes along. I was one of the first ones to use FTH and when FTH2 came along, I was sort of the district 'go to' person and gave a session at a District Conference. You say, the last 5 meetings still showed. I say, "It hasn't been that way" but I'll just accept that this is now the way it is. There are more than I want to see but I'll have to move on.
I do appreciate all you do.....I haven't asked a question for a long, long time.
