For some strange reason, I cannot click the Reconcile button in either Valencia or Quest even when I'm logged in as Admin. When I click on the Reconcile checkbox, the checkmark disappears when I save the change.

Second, why does the pencil icon show up when I log in as myself if I don't have access rights to edit the agenda as in Valencia where I'm not an officer?

If you are logged in as admin and yourself as member you will see the pencil.

If I'm logged in just as myself I still the icon.

What about the reconcile checkbox? I asked a member of another club and theirs works fine.

What role do you have on the agenda? Some roles have edit rights.

Most of your recent past agendas are reconciled. Please provide a date for an agenda that isn't saving as reconciled

On Valencia, on 9/23 I’m the Toastmaster so have editing rights and on Quest 11/17 I’m the Toastmaster, yet I cannot reconcile either agenda. Then just as an experiment I logged in as admin on Quest and gave myself access rights as President to edit agendas to see if that would make a difference and went to the 11/17 agenda. I check the reconcile box, but when I click save, it goes blank, which is the same result if I check it, exit and come back in. Still on Quest I went to the 11/10 agenda which had been reconciled. I unchecked the box, clicked save and it went away but I couldn’t get it to stay. On valencia the Secretary has been reconciling the recent agendas, so she can do it. Why her and not me?

As to agenda editing rights, if I’m logged in just as myself, on Quest I have editing rights on every agenda regardless of my role. I am not the VPE or secretary who have access rights to edit the agenda, so why is this so? This behavior is not displayed on valencia. I have editing rights on only those agendas where it has been granted in the agenda.

Edit rights: It seems the president has edit rights to all agendas - regardless of access settings.

Reconcile:
1 - what browser are you using? can you try with a different browser?
2 - go into an unreconciled past agenda (edit mode) and without checking the reconcile box click the save button. You should have a popup asking if you want to reconcile, which will do the job

Yeah, this is something I was pressured to put it back into in the system after I took it out when I implemented Access settings and the "Is Editor" setting for meeting roles. (I don't like anything that seems like a hacky, inconsistent loophole.)

Safari. I opened Quest in Chrome and the Reconcile feature works properly. I get the popup indicated. How about that. I bounce back and forth between the browsers and do find that Chrome works better in some cases. Who'd have thunk. Good detective work Pam.

Unfortunately, this appears to be an issue that is only reproducible on Safari on an Apple computer.
It does not seem to show up on Safari on Windows.

As I do not have an Apple computer, I do not have a way to test fixes to resolve the issue. :-(
