We had a member with a wrong (User unknown) email address. But when sending agenda/message to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. there is NO notification that this members email was bad.

Because the list-server is used as the destination, how can we know an email address is not good?

You will know when your member does not get their welcome email.

The reason you don't get the response for email unknown is that the sending server may use and unknown email address to respond to the bounce.
