I have a PayPal account (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) which should be sending messages about account activity to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  which points to my personal email.
but I get nothing.

Trying to troubleshoot;
- I have NOT indicated I don't want to get external email in my profile.

I tried using a non-member email source (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)  to send messages to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and so far nothing, and no rejection messages either.

Is PayPal on a block list?
Is something else black-holing these messages?
Do I need to setup a custom group to get these messages?

It looks like the MX records in your custom domain account need to be configured. In your admin console click on DNS record lookup of www.merrimack-toastmasters.org. to see which DNS records are configured.

Another way to identify an MX record config issue is by looking at your club's email address list. It shows your club number addresses. e.g. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. not This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

See this doc for custom domain configuration;

Remember, the club number addresses (such as This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) will always work, even when a custom domain or alias is in use.

Not the problem. My DNS settings have been fine for awhile.
I can send mail from my member address to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
But non-member origin addresses don't seem to work.
And reading the Admin panel it says this:
These are publicly accessible. Anyone can send email to these email addresses, but each one can be disabled by the respective officer in their member profile.
Is this incorrect?

I forgot to check for returns, it took awhile but I got some errors from my previous attempts:

Please try sending from your regular email to another officer, and get them to send to your officer address
There might be an issue with your alternate address.  If the test above is successful, we'll be able to confirm and investigate further

Don't know, because I don't get them. There is no bounce message presented to the account.
Presumably it comes from one of their servers.

I can send from my regular email to my own office (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) not a problem.   And I receive club email initiated by other officers all the time.
It seems that officer aliases are not publically receivable.... is that intentional (ie fix the help) or a mistake?
I have about 12 email addrs I can try. Any particular provider?  Hover, Comcast, A2Hosting

I can see emails from the server to your This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  email being sent and received by your email service.

your milton email address uses outlook as its email processor. try another email addrress to send to treasurer@

Good question, the problem is I don't know what address those are sent from, since I don't haven't received one.
Looking at my personal PayPal activity, it seems they would come from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. so I just put that in our Whitelist

Outlook is my IMAP client on my PC. The mail server for This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. is mail.hover.com
The bounced messages above were from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. which is hosted on A2hosting.com
I used my PC's Outlook client to send those messages via the SMTP on my hosted domain on their servers. I'm sure I'd get the same response if I use their webmail page.
I've also put that address in the whitelist and see if I can generate some different messages.
