I am a member and officer of multiple sites. I have been unable to log into two of them using my club member login this morning. When I enter my name I am supposed to get a list of matching names -- that list never appears. I understand you are trying to make things easier for users, but we are all adults and can be trusted to enter a user identification directly into the login screen.

I understand the server is currently running slow, but I am currently unable to transact club business.

A couple of thoughts come to mind:
  1. fix the login screen so I can directly enter my identification and password (similar to the admin login
  2. replace the login screen with one similar to the one used by Toastmasters Internation

You can enter your entire name or email address.

We are not Toastmasters International, we have no access to any information on their servers.

Thanks for your reply. You're listed as "Admin" but I'm not sure if that means you're an "Admin" of Free ToastHost 2 or of the forum.

The issue with toastmastersclubs.org is serious. It's taking several minutes just to log in. Is there someone who could be contacted who could check the server and correct things?

Thanks!

Of course we are looking at it.

You seem to forget FTH is a free service we do not have an unlimited budget. The server is sized to handle the load we usually see week to week.

This week is the perfect storm, everyone took the long weekend off and decided that Tuesday is the day all the clubs should update everything. All the new officers, the weekly agendas and all of the magically new members that didn't exist last week.

So please be patient and try your updates now late in the day or early tomorrow morning and help us weather this storm.

Your assistance is appreciated.

Thank you,
