Can someone Please Help me??
I am having trouble scheduling events on the calendar with the hours included.

I am trying to schedule events with specific hours and more information included without having to dedicate a web page to the event.

I've tried several different ways however I am not able to schedule events for specific hours. I've followed the directions in the on-line help and still end up with an all-day event. I also can't find out where to change the type of event to a regular "club meeting." I can only get administrator event or user event.

Is there any way to schedule an event that only shows up for members who are logged into the site?
Is there a way to include a description of the event and other details without creating a web page for it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!
Mark

There's currently a bug that makes new events whole-day events only. That should get fixed fairly soon.

"Club meeting" events with the blue colour appear when you create an agenda. You can't actually create one directly.

It's not possible to define member-only events.

There's only room for a brief description of an event, and if you want more detail, using a separate page is necessary.

If you need a more detailed calendar, it might be possible to incorporate another calendar site into a separate. I've not tried to do this myself, so we'd need to hear from someone else who has done this.

If you create an agenda, the link that automatically appears on the calendar will only open the agenda to members logged in to the site.

Similarly, if you link a calendar event to a page in the members only area, only the members logged in to the site will be able to see them when they click on the link.

Anyone else clicking on your "members only" links will be directed to your meeting information / directions page.

Links to public pages will open up for non-members as well as members

This should be fixed now. Can you please restart your browser, click the blue reload link at the bottom, and give it another try?

Please let us know one way or the other if it is working for you now.
