Agenda item - Would like blank field that can be filled in

We have a new agenda item that can have any of three different "items"- humor/joke, poem, or Slido. When people sign up for it, it would be nice to have a field they can fill in to designate what they will be doing, e.g., joke, poem, etc. I've looked at the manual and searched the docs and support requests, and I don't see it although I could have missed it. We aren't rotating on a schedule- people simply choose what they want.
Thanks!
Nelson

We have the same: a few small segments we rotate. It'd be really handy if the members could name the topic directly themselves (joke, inspirational, what the world needs to know, book/movie review).
What's FTH development team's view on this, how feasible would it be to implement?

FTH development team's view

"team" ... LOL...  that would be me, I guess.

My assessment is that this would only be of value to a few clubs and cost / benefit ratio is high (cost is my spare time & effort) relative to other things I could work on, so this is very low priority.

However, if enough other people post in favor of it, I may be swayed.

This is basically the way I approach what to prioritize in terms of new features and functionality... I need to be persuaded that a lot of clubs would benefit relative to the amount of spare time & effort I would have to expend.

We have a similar role called "Member's Choice"
If you mark the role as "The person assigned to this role can edit this meeting agenda", the member will be able to edit the item (or any other on the agenda).  Some clubs use this approach to allow the Wordmaster or Grammarian to enter the Word for the meeting.

The ability for a member to edit the agenda would function as a good workaround. I was hoping to keep the edit rights to the minimum to reduce the exposure surface for mistakes but will need to think about this.
