Email Templates
FreeToastHost provides a template system to aid the process of repeated email sending with similar content.
For example:
- Clubs that email the agenda to members prior to each meeting.
- General notices to the club using Send Basic email
- Dues follow-up with a standard message.
The same email template tool is available in three club site functions:
- A dated meeting agenda
- Send basic email (Membership Management)
- Follow-up (Dues cycle)

The templates listed in the drop-down are the same regardless of where the email template tool is used.
Template creation
Complete the Custom message box
Select 'Save as new template' at the bottom.

The "Save template" button is available only if a template is loaded.
A dialog box will open to enter a name for the template.
Emailing an agenda will set the email subject according to the dated agenda.
Be aware that applying a template will update the email subject to the template subject.
When creating templates for use with dated agendas, use the {[nextmtgdate]} variable in the template name.
Templates are listed in alphabetical order. A suggested organizational practice is to start the template name with the usage location;
- Agenda...
- Basic Email...
- Dues...
Using templates
Select the desired template from the drop-down list.
- If you apply a template for a dated agenda, be sure to check the subject and update if neccessary.
To delete a template, select it from the list and the Delete button will be active.
Template tool missing from agenda emailer?
Club members can email a meeting agenda only to themselves. If the following message appears, the template tool is not available in the agenda emailer.
