Can't update 'my profile'

Locked 6 replies · 392 views

I'm wondering if it is an authority issue.

I too cannot update the text for the public profile using "My Profile"
I have entered a decent description in the text, saved, leave my profile, come back, it is empty.
i have entered just "test" wondering if it was length, left, came back, and it also didn't stick.
I have verified that nothing is showing on the public profile.

We are CLUB#: 1036597 Area 92 Div T District 86 Region 6

I am VP-Ed. We are encouraging folks to update their profile
Kind regards,

1) how are you logged in? As VPE or ClubAdmin?
2) after making your changes and clicking save, do you see a green box at the top saying saved?
3) If not scroll down and look for anything in red.
Thank you,

Logged in as a member (as that is how most people will update their profile).
I happen to be the VP-Ed.

No error messages.   I checked for that.  It's also why i went to just putting the word "test" in

Ok, figured out that there is an error under my username stating:  That username is another account's email address, which would make signing in ambiguous. Please choose another.

I changed it, the text saved, but, funnily enough, the username reverted.

I will do more testing when I can log on later tonight
Kind regards,

look at the add ons you have for your browser one of them is auto filling the username.

That was it.  I've never seen that happen in any other app, very odd.

I proved it by going to Incognito window, and sure enough it stayed.
I then turned off my password app for the site.
Works, but, less than ideal

Request can be marked resolved
