VP Membership email alias not getting forwarded

I can seee the emails going through the server. Have him check his spam box, and whitelist server@toastmastersclubs.org and agenda@toastmasgtersclubs.org

 

It also looks like he is sending email from himself to himself through FTH gmail does not like that use another email from address to send to vpm-654714@toastmastersclubs.org

I sent an email to the vpm alias and confirmed with him that he received it. Then he tried to reply back from the same email. Your image shows the RE but I never got the reply email even though he sent it.

It isn’t in my junk mail.

Are the email aliases designed to be one-way only? Is that why it’s failing on the reply email?

Yes the email aliases are for inbound email.

How did you send the email?

I started by using my personal email to compose a message to the vpm. The vpm got a message from server@toastmastersclubs.org on his email on file.

Then he replied back. My expectation was for the email to go to my personal inbox, but instead, when he did a reply, it auto filled the “to” field with the vpm alias. Which is why it looks like he replied to himself which resulted in me not getting the reply.

Seems like a bug to me. This means if a guest emails us through the alias, we can’t email them back since we wouldn’t know the guest email and it defaults to emailing the alias.

What email client is he using?

I would like to see the full raw internet email header in the first received email.

I got the raw. I've changed the sender and recipient emails to original_sender@email.com and original_recipient@email.com for privacy reasons.

One quick skim and I see this line below that show why the VPM couldn't reply back; It's set to send right back to the VPM.
