If they have opted in as a guest, since they have already opted in, can they be added directly to member in order to recieve the auto "New Member Welcome" or since they are already in the system as opted in, would the email would have to be sent directly?

1) Please don't jump another post your problem is not theirs
2) If they have opted-in as a guest/prospect/etc they can be moved to the member list no additional opt-in required. You will have to send them the welcome email manually.

I think you answered my question, but maybe I didn't make it clear. I know you move from Guest to Member, however, my question is "do you have to" if you want to add them "new" to the member list so they would receive the auto Welcome email? My gut is you can't since they have already opted in. So - if they have already opted in as a guest, you would need to send the Welcome email manually - correct?
