As we change leadership each year at Toastmasters international, will it require going thru David Crockett each time, here? What happens if he is no longer in our club, who then would update our website? I am willing to inform him and have him make the changes if only one person is allowed as administrator. It seems singular and cumbersome.

It is up to your club how you manage your site, if David is no longer with the club you can request a admin change.

Please read ALL the documentation on this site on how to manage your FTH site.

And Steven, as part of managing your site, it's up to you if you want to allow more than one person to have the admin password. While we can only have one password, some clubs will have an assistant administrator, who's likely to remain in Toastmasters for the foreseeable future. This helps ensure a seamless transition, when it's needed.

Also, Mr. Crockett is recorded as the site administrator because that's what's been entered in the Admin Info tab on your Administrator Console. Once you have a new admin, he or she should put their own info there, instead. Mr, Crockett should then have no further connection to your site other, hopefully, than your good feelings for his service to the site.

Should this situation occur again in the future, the most current admin's contact info should be there in the site, and we can get it for you, if you cannot (though if you follow the instructions for requesting an admin change, you should always be able to get back in).
