Our president set a vacation period to exclude emails for a member. Now we want to undo that so she can get the club emails. Both the president and I have attempted to delete the vacation period in the member's profile settings by removing the dates. We save the changes each time. Still she is not getting the club emails. When we re-check the email profile the prior vacation setting displays. Even more strange is the fact that the time period has expired. It shows as 12-31-2019 to 1-15-2020. This is the message I get when sending a group email. Your message to (******) was skipped per the member's profile settings (vacation hold period). What else should we try doing?

1) why does your President have 2 users on your club members list?
2) neither of the users for Magan has a vacation set in their email settings.

The president didn't set the vacation for herself. She did it for another member who had a death in the family. As for two users: are you referring to the president's extra email addresses?

I corrected the time zone to US-Pacific. Then I deleted the vacation dates for our member, saved and closed. I went back in to membership profile email settings and saw that the program had reset itself to the vacation dates as before.

I will send a group test email and to see if I get the server notification again and if the member gets the email. Then I will let you know of the result.

Sorry I wasn't more clear. I wanted to protect the privacy of the member. I am sure you scan these requests fast because of the time factor so it is understandable that you missed reading the end of the first sentence. As a reminder my first sentence was "Our president set a vacation period to exclude emails for a member."

Problem is now solved.

I am letting you know that the member is now receiving the emails. Even though the profile email setting doesn't allow me to delete the old vacation dates it is now recognizing that the time period has expired. Our member confirmed receiving my test group email. Thank you for directing me to the incorrect time zone.

Unless you tell us at least the members first name there is no way for us to check why the vacation setting is not clearing.
