My apologies for posting something that has been asked already, but my search found no answers to this question:

Should I use this site with the same username that I use on my club page or a separate one?

(FYI I've used a separate one.)
Club No. 627794, Area 2, Division A, District 60

You can use whatever name you choose as long as it is not offensive or vulgar.

But if you have a question or problem, we will need your club number, so please add it to your signature.

Thanks for asking.

Your name on the club website is usually your "real" name. You can use either that or your email address to log in to your website. Your email address can only be seen in the private member directory, which is only visible to members.

It is not a good idea to use your email address as your user name in any public forum such as this. You haven't done so, but I'll move this to the Tips and Tricks forum for any "newer" users who might have the same question.

Anyone who already has used their email address as their forum name can ask for it to be changed. An admin can do it for you.
