NEW FEATURE - Automatic Renumbering of Numbered Roles

Great time-saving idea to reorder roles, however, I may have found a glitch.

To test, I edited an agenda by moving our 3rd Evaluator up to 2nd position, then saved. All position #s looked correct.

I then deleted the blank 3rd Evaluator, then saved. Now the position #s reverted to 1st and 3rd, no 2nd anywhere.

I repeated using Speaker roles and found identical outcome. Is this a system issue or on my end?

MikeA, let me check this ... I will take a look this evening. Thanks for the heads up. ;)

I think I am currently only triggering the renumbering on a drag and drop. I probably need trigger it for more situations. I had not thought about a deletion of a role needing to trigger it.

Explicit editing of the role title or adding a new role (e.g. Speaker #1 when Speaker #2 and Speaker #3 exist already) also do not currently trigger the renumbering.

The triggers can be changed though.

MikeA: The triggers have been updated, so the renumbering should get triggered at the proper times now.

Some adjustments have been made to this feature to accommodate some unusual numbered role text scenarios. Additionally, asterisks can be used in numbered roles to indicate which part of the role text should be considered for the renumbering process.

For example, consider the following cases that I have successfully tested and verified as working as expected... Notice my notes in the role descriptions below, also.

In the past month, numbered roles have defaulted to a continuous count up. We have Evaluators #1, #2, & often #3 listed twice on the agenda. Early in the meeting, they state their purpose in evaluation. Later in the meeting, they evaluate the speakers #1, #2, & #3 in order.
However, instead of allowing us to have Evaluator #1 & #2 appear twice on the agenda... it auto corrects the second appearance of Evaluators #1 & #2 to Evaluators #3 & #4.

You can disable the automatic renumbering if it does not work for you... just uncheck the checkbox at the top of the editor.
