5. When posting a New Topic , please include all relevant details and be specific. When did your issue 1st occur? What operating system, browser, & browser version are you using? Did you refresh your browser cache? Are your cookies enabled? Lastly, a screen shot is often helpful.

UPDATED FEATURE - Send New Member Welcome Email upon New Member Opt-in

Several of you have asked about sending the new member welcome email when a new member "opts-in" and I agree that would be great, so I added that functionality. However, you have to enable it as it is disabled by default--we tend to not like a lot of emails just being sent out automatically, so this is disabled by default on purpose. There is a checkbox to enable it in the Membership Management Settings tab... see below:



There are also some modifications to the existing notifications to indicate that the welcome email was also sent.

I usually send new members an email after I log in their information, therefore, I am confused what does opt in mean? If I select that box, does it mean that I do not have to send it anymore?

You are a bit behind... (read the above)... time to catch up. ;) And yes, you can automate the sending of the new member welcome email with this, but you need to read up on the above thread to understand opt-in first.
