Jo Anna,

I wish I had an explanation, but I don't. I just know that at times when I copy/paste from one email provider to another, strange things happen.

I think I figured it out.

When I read the instructions on the site (heaven forbid!) it says the sending email address must be the same as the profile address I use. My gmail account has two addresses consolidating into it.

When I sent the last one, I changes the send address and so far I am not getting any bounces.

Thanks for the assistance, Roger.
Blessings, Jo Anna

You can put two email addresses in your profile if you wish. If you check the checkbox to receive at both email address (what I call the CC All checkbox) then you will get all FTH email at both.

Hi Roger, Steve and 'Support team,

I am back.

At our meeting tonight, I learned that I am not the only officer unable to send notes to our members using the members' email address in the subject line of this note.

I am wondering if the email address is not linked properly in the code for the website.

When we send the agenda, it goes to all members without a hitch. It doesn't pull the email address into our private mailboxes, but sends it through the website. Why doesn't the members-6253 address work the same way?

Who can help us correct the code, or do whatever is necessary, so it works? We are missing opportunities because we cannot tailor email messages to our members.

We appreciate the convenience of the site and would like to optimize its use.

Thanks for the help on this.

When I send a note to the members of our club using the email address (members-6253@toastmastersclubs.org) in the "Club E-mail Addresses" box, it gets bounced.

I copy the address to my Gmail message and send the note from there. (When I click the address on the JSTM site, it is pulled into my Office program which I no longer use.)

I want to send notes to the members without sending the agenda each time.

Am I doing something in error or is there a glitch in our site?

Thank you, Jo Anna

I am the current developer. Please provide me a copy of the bounce message.

You seem to have 2 gmail addresses which one are you using to send to the list? Remember the admin is not a member.
