Our club is about to change its name, and we want to have our site URL reflect the new name. However, we also want to keep the URL with the old name as well. How do I do this? Who do I need to talk to?

Thanks,
Bob

The club number is 5213 and the current URL, in addition to the club number version, is: ryanplaza.toastmastersclubs.org

The new one should be: firstrate.toastmastersclubs.org

We want both URLs to stay active, at least for the time being. Google is bringing the Ryan Plaza site up first when you search. We don't want to loose that when the new URL becomes active.

I am sorry but that is not possible.

If you want to keep the old name and have a new name your club will have to purchase a custom domain name for the new name, then you could have something like

ryanplaza.toastmastersclubs.org and www.firstratetoastmasters.org

There is not a way to have multiple subdomains? It looks like ryanplaza.toastmastersclubs.org is just a pointer too 5213.toastmastersclubs.org, which is the real site. I was hoping that we could have the firstrate.toastmastersclubs.org subdomain point to 5213 as well.

you can have 1 alias to the numbered subdomain and you can have a custom domain name those are your choices.
