from club 7174

A long term member of our club receives no regular club emails from the website, nor is he able to gain access to the website. There does not appear to be any issues with his membership information.

I can personally correspond with him via email.

Member's name Skip Irwin.

Thank you,

Jim

Ok, when did the issue start occurring?

Are you able to log in as him using his login and the admin password?

Is Skip able to *send* emails to the member (or other) list? If not, what bounce message does he get back?

Has anyone checked membership management to make sure Skip's email address is correct and not misspelled? (common error)

Please check these and get back to me if skip still has an issue.

The issue has been going on for some months, apparently.

I was able to log in with his name and the admin password.

Skip sent me a message to Treasurer@ the club and I received it. Just BTW, Skip is an officer of the club and does not receive those emails either.

His email on membership management is identical to the one I use privately.

I have asked Skip to try and find a spam folder associated with his account name at MSN. I know one exists for me at Comcast but would not know where to find it. Certainly do not know where to look at MSN.

It occurs to me that I can make him a former member and then go in and establish him as a new member. This would cure anything other than a spam issue. I will wait to hear from you.

Thanks!
