Hello,
Club 6362, Tacoma Bureaucrats, 6362.toastmastersclubs.org/

I am trying to embed a google map on our homepage using the iframe feature, but I keep getting a message that says "Forbidden: You do not have access..." followed by my iframe code.
The meeting location/directions page map appears with no issues so I tried copying that code into an iframe on the homepage but that one didn't work either.
Has the update to google maps caused a compatibility issue?
Here's the code I'm trying to embed:

<iframe src=" www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!1m14!1m8!1...2sus!4v1406696092989 " width="600" height="450" frameborder="0" style="border:0">

Here's the url if you want to see the map:

www.google.com/maps/place/The+News+Tribu...5:0x822946fa2904a7d9

I've included some pictures of my process. Thanks for your help!

Yeah, when you already have the iframe code with the <iframe in it, then you insert that in Source View.

Otherwise, you need to put just the url in the iframe dialog. You are trying to put the iframe tag in the dialog. The dialog takes a url and combines that with an iframe tag that it puts together.

So... either insert the <iframe stuff in Source view or leave off the <iframe part and put the url (what's after src=") in the dialog.

Hi Club 6362,
I am from Club 84, Dawn Talkers. How did you get into iframe? I don't know how to get this far.
Thanks in advance for any steps to share.

Google maps will provide the iframe embed code... How is in our docs. I wrote the doc.

support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/g...-for-directions-page

There really is nothing special about the map on the meeting info page... we just insert the iframe code you give us there. You can insert it elsewhere also. On my club website, I don't use the builtin map feature since I don't like where it gets placed.
