cannot log-in - drop down menu shows name as in directory - Help, please

When I enter my name in log-in box, the drop-down shows my name & designations exactly as in our directory, not my member number. I enter PW - get instructions to do exactly what I just did.
Tried entering my member number, with and without the '0' rather than my name with the same result
Restarted computer - same result.
Frustration has set in - HELP, PLEASE

By the way, I am not the only member having difficulty logging in!

We do not use member numbers in FTH (at least not right now).

You enter a few letters of your first name (or email), the system looks you up and presents the closest matches in a pop up list. You choose from the list, enter your password, and click the login button.
