I use Google Chrome and have just tested this as follows:
I uploaded a large file (>4MB) - it took quite a while to upload, over a minute - would depend on your internet speed and the FTH Server.
I then deleted the file and then loaded it again. No problems.

There was an issue with some members being logged out and not realising that they had been logged out a while ago. That issue seems to have been resolved, but it is possible you were caught up in it when you had the problem.

Please will you try the following:
Click on the "reload website from server" link at the very bottom of your webpage, to make sure you have all the latest code.
Try uploading a small file
If that works try reloading one of your original files.

Let us know if it works, and if it doesn't let us know the process you are following, e.g. what is the file type you are loading? do you get to select the file for download? do you see the donut going round as the file is being uploaded? do you get any messages? is the screen closing unexpectedly? Anything of relevance might help us resolve the problem

Also, are your cookie settings correct? (If they are not, then you can get logged out in the middle of trying to do something.)

I tried multiple times about four hours ago to load a file, and usually got a message that it was successfully uploaded, but the spinning disk kept spinning. Opening the site again disclosed no file had been uploaded. I tried again a few minutes ago, and the same thing happened. I have tried clicking on the link at the page bottom to reload, and done this both from Chrome and IE. Earlier, after attempting the upload and hitting F5/reload, I was getting logged out.

In IE right now, the Upload button doesn't do anything. Oh, and it's logging me out again when reloading from server.

The attached screen shot shows the file I'm trying to upload at the top of the list (OO Table Topics How.pdf- yes it's a valid pdf it opens in Adobe reader) and you can see the three dots of the spinning "disk".

Cookies- I'm not having problems doing other things, either other sites or this site (except this).

Don't know if it matters but I'm not the primary admin, I'm doing this under my login with rights granted to file manager.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks, I think this is quite important. I ran into exactly the same issue earlier.

Steve, this is the same bug I ran into while testing before release. I can still replicate it now. I'm currently logged in as user with access to the file manager, not as admin.

On this particular occasion, I'm using latest Firefox (just updated) on Vista. I checked cookie settings.

I can check it in my usual system if that would help.
