I too am having problems with the agenda, but I noticed that when I created a new agenda today, the boxes where I enter the members' names for the roles state "Unassigned" instead of the normal "Log in as member to sign up". Therefore, the roles that have the latter verbiage work, but the roles with the "Unassigned" do not work. I've plugged the names in and hit save and close, and all of the information is back to "Unassigned".

Please help. I know it has something to do with the different verbiage, but I don't know how it changed. I've been sending out agendas for over two years at least.

Here is a portion of the agenda which displays the two things I was talking about above.

Ok, you should be fine.

You really should make more sign up roles in your agenda so that members can go online and sign themselves up for roles. If you don't do that, you are undercutting one of the key benefits of the online agenda functionality. Obviously, you can sign people up with the edit agenda feature, but using the online member sign-up can help encourage members to take meeting roles.
