Club Website Update - Corporate Club

Hello,

We are in the process of updating our club website for our corporate club, Office Depot Toastmasters. We just have a few questions before proceeding:
  • Is there an agreement between my company and Toastmasters that we should adhere to about the website?
  • We are preparing to make visual updates to the site based on our company guidelines (i.e. adding the company logo, adding company colors, etc. Does Toastmasters have specific guidelines we should follow regarding the look of one of their club websites?
  • Where are the agreement and/or guidelines located?

Please advise if you can answer or if I should possibly direct my questions to another resource. Thank you!

You are talking about branding and you need to address your questions to Toastmasters international

See their website for branding information.

Thanks, Brian. That was my original route, but they suggested I reach out to Free Toast Host. I will try them again. Thank you.

The templates we provide are TI Brand compliant. What you do with them afterwards should follow the brand manual

Jenny,

I am curious what route you went to inquire from Toastmasters. It is easy to get lost in the bureaucracy sometimes. It is important to note that TI headquarters in "in charge" of branding issues--not our Area/Division/District leaders. Quite often our local leaders are unaware of branding issues and recommended (and required) guidelines.

My recommendation is that you address your questions re: branding to brand@toastmasters.org.

Another great place to start is with the branding information found on the TI website:

www.toastmasters.org/Leadership%20Centra...es%20and%20Templates

Specifically, look at the following documents:

*Policy and protocol (look at pages 24-26)
*Brand Manual (Home Depot will have their own brand manual as well... basically, use the logos provided, don't modify them)

They are very helpful.
