Hi,
We have a user whose password never works.
Every time he tries to use the site his password is rejected and he has to do a reset.
This enables him to do what he needs to do.
The next time he tries to log in, with the password he last created, the password's rejected.
So he has to do a reset again.

We've cleared cookies to see if that clears the problem but it does not.

He came to my office and we did some experiments.
From here we got things working fine for him - with no apparent cause for the problem.
Back at his office or at home he encounters the same login problem.

I'm flummoxed.
Has anybody got any idea what might be happening?

Clearing cookies is the *opposite* of what you should be doing. There is a cookie that the code must set on the user's computer to maintain the login status. No cookie means they get logged out.

Next time he logs in, click on the eye icon to the upper right of the password entry blank.

This will reveal exactly what he's submitting as his password.

It could be that he has CAPS lock on, or that an outdated, saved password is being populated by his browser.

I've had an user that needed to delete an old password from his browser.

Thanks.
