Victor, it appears that all the the problem emails are happening when they are sent from venu.singh@lausd.net
I do not see an issue when other people are sending... can you confirm this?

Can you see what Venu is using to send their emails with? (Outlook, web mail, ThunderBird, etc.) I may need to try to mimic it to look for a problem.

Lastly, can you have Venu send a test email to the members list, but with the following prefixed to the beginning of the subject line?
{{savein,saveout,trace}}
Venu will receive some emails w/ text attachments back from the email list server... those are diagnostics... I would appreciate it it you could fetch those and post them here so I can take a look.

I made a small change to kill the retries which cause the extra blank emails. However, that does not solve the root problem, it just limits the consequences.

The emails not being delivered to members list appears to have been working today on the diagnostic message sent with prefix. Here are the logs from the message response - Venu.
