I have looked into the logic that triggers the error message.

After the file has been recreated and saved on the server (an attempted save), there is an existence check that determines if the save on the server was actually successful. This is what is likely tied to the error message you are seeing.

The question is if their is a real error, or if the logic triggering the error message is a problem. (or something else)

However, note that we have been using this upload logic for a couple of years without major incident, so I am wondering if it is something tied to your browser. (browsers change over time even if the upload code does not)

I was able to upload an image on FireFox without a problem. Could you please post the image you are trying to upload here?
