What happened to the Public Downloads and Member Downloads?
I had several files in the Public Downloads, but now it shows no files in Public Downloads. I see the files that originally came with FTH are no longer there.
Also, I had files organized in virtual folders and now under Member Downloads, those folders are gone.

Just confirming that the same happened here. Folder structure, public vs. private flag, custom filenames all gone. Files have reverted to original upload filenames, all private, no folders. I'm attempting to rebuild manually so viewing our site right now to confirm will show that it is changing. If a backup of previous state can be restored, that would save having to do a manual rebuild. Thanks.

UPDATE: A manual refresh of browser cache indicates that either your fix or my manual updates have restored the files to what is expected. Thanks either way. I'll continue monitoring.

[strike]Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, the reload from server did not restore it to the expected state. I manually re-entered everything earlier today and now that is gone too. I'm happy to manually restore but not if active attempts to fix the problem will continue to overwrite the manual changes.[/strike]

my fix ... I am migrating the file descriptions and other file meta data to the MySQL database for better maintainability and performance. The old scheme will be maintained in parallel for a few weeks until we are sure the new scheme is working as intended. (That lets me do recoveries like this if we run into problems with the new scheme.)

I thought I had this done yesterday, but apparently something was missed... sorry for any inconvenience.

I think everything should be fine now. Anyone disagree? (otherwise, I will lock the topic)

Looks good on my end Steve. Thanks again ... and thanks for doing the under-the-covers work to migrate to mySQL!
