Yes, I got that, but every other URL I post in a search bar works.
I'll check with the other member and see if she is able to access the site. If not, I'll probably be back, if so, accept my thanks for your assistance.

Yeah, but unfortunately it is a quirk of how this forum software represents URLs in links. If you click on the link, it correctly navigates to the correct location, but when you copy/paste URLs from the forum, it will sometimes leave out parts of the URL even if it was entered correctly. (It is very frustrating for us too.) This is because when you copy/paste from the forum, you are copying/pasting what you see on the screen instead of the underlying URL. The forum software frequently leaves off parts of URLs as a shortening measure.

This is interesting, and thank you for your explanation. I can understand now why the difference between clicking on the link and copy/paste. I did the copy to be sure I didn't have a typo.

The other mystery is why I can't get to the website when I type the URL in the search box for bing or google, but it works directly from the browser search bar. I tried searching for my other club and had the same result, works from browser but not from the google or bing search bar, using the club number instead of club URL. I am always curious about why things don't work, and assume the disconnect is in the google search.

Since we can get to the website, problem is solved and we are working on getting that domain name renewed.

I appreciate your response.

You have never told bing or google how to reach 1142333.toastmastersclubs.org/
You only told them how to reach the custom domain by adding it to toastmasters.org find-a-club
