Slow connection in Europe?

More

We have a new (to our club) member who is having difficulty accessing FTH while on her trip in Europe.  FTH has been slow for her in the United States, but appears to be much slower in Europe.  She doesn't see that same affect when browsing other sites while "over there".

Is there something she should do differently?  Is this just an observed coincidence?  Or is it "just how it is"?

Thanks,
Brian, VPM

Here's what I have from her:

Macbook air
MacOS Big Sur
Safari...no clue, I'll see if I can figure that out
I'm connected via the ethernet on the router here in Germany, it's the T-Mobile affiliate here that they get internet through.
I'm also connected to Express VPN which shows my IP address as being in New York

Thanks!

There is nothing there that suggests an issue.

The only tool I know that can look at the length of time to connect to a server is Trace Route and i am not sure it is installed by default on a MAC and requires terminal to run it.
