disabling role notification emails

I have a member who gets meeting role notifications.  He says he has  disabled these notifications in his profile but he still gets them.
As a the Vice President of Education is there  a way to disable role  notifications for  other members so they don't get an email every time I assign them a role on the club website.

When reporting an issue please be precise.
your club number is always required.
Who has the issue.
When was the last time they had the issue.

If you want to disable role assignment notifications for all members, make sure the check box for "Also notify affected members of role assignment changes made in the dated agenda editor." is off.  This is in Meeting Agenda Settings / Global Settings / Notification Settings.
This is best left off if the VPE (or other member) fills in the role assignments before emailing the agenda to members.
